Despise Not The Day of Small Beginnings!

If you're like me, you doubt yourself more than you'd like to admit sometimes. I tend to do a lot of second guessing, overthinking. So, when I put my mind to something it takes me a while to gather my thoughts and take action. I like to have a complete plan for execution, a road map with all the answers, and I expect perfect results immediately with positive reception on the first attempt. This is not vanity, it is anxiety. Of course, it's not realistic to expect perfection at all times, but I just hate to put things out into the world that aren't at a certain standard. This attitude of needing everything to be stellar has put a hold on so many of my goals. NO MORE!

God said, "Despise not the day of small beginnings for the Lord rejoices to see the work BEGIN..." That confirmed that it was most vital that I START! No matter on what level and, regardless of who was already doing it better, I just need to engage the process, He'll handle the rest. I'm understanding that process comes before promotion. We have to learn, practice and master our craft before being considered great. And all the greats started somewhere. Most of our favorite singers started just performing in their church or local talent shows, but they pressed on through their season of obscurity. So, although small and less than perfect, this is my beginning!
