Fall Bucket List!
I've said it a million times, and I'll say it again: FALL IS MY FAVORITE SEASON! Why? The reasons are endless! The weather, the colors, the sweaters, scarves, hats & boots, the PUMPKIN SPICE! What's not to love? Beyond that, I love the poetic symbolism derived from the fall season. The nature of autumn is symbolic of change, balance, comfort and the art of letting go! All of these are concepts that my personality-type craves, but struggles to maintain. So this is the time that I tend to feel my spirit thrive!
Along with that, I totally romanticize ALL the fall activities and the aesthetics that accompany them; however, I can't ever seem to partake in everything that our glorious autumn has to offer! So, how do I plan to change that? I'm going to commit to tackling my Fall Bucket List! I'm sure you've heard of a bucket list, which is a collection of your goals and dreams that you aspire to accomplish during your lifetime! Bucket lists are beneficial in the fact that they help you to focus on what you really want, motivate you, excite you about life, and give you something to look forward to! I recommend that everyone write out their short-term and long-term bucket lists and evaluate them frequently! Are those goals conducive to the life that you want to create? In what order should you prioritize them? Have you done your research on topics that are less familiar to you? What's your first step toward execution? Having a written plan, and carefully thinking through the required actions is essential! So, that's how I'm going to make my fall dreams come true! Here's my Fall Bucket List!
1. TOUR A WINERY
Wine tasting is a BIG vibe and it's one of my favorite things to do with a group of friends! I've been wine tasting a few times, but I'd really love to explore a vineyard or take a tour through the cellars of a beautiful winery. The thought just feels romantic to me!
2. TOUR A BREWERY
Something I've just wanted to do for a while! I figure that it would be a similar experience to the winery! I'm already sort of interested in the process of beer making because I love learning new things, especially when it feels kinda "behind the scenes"
3. VISIT AN ARBORETUM
I love nature, plants, flowers, etc...and I'm just dying to seek the pretty fall colors and take some adorable photos!
4. STAR GAZING
I mean... a dream! No explanation need!
5. SEE AN ORCHARD
Honey, Dramatic-Raven cannot wait to go frolic through somebody's fields and have me a "Sound of Music" moment!!
6. PUMPKIN PATCH/CORN MAZE
Because... obviously! Is it even fall without a pumpkin patch trip?
Now, I've thought through what I want to do, so the next steps are to schedule, grab a friend and get going! What are you looking forward to? What experiences are ready to make happen? Even if fall isn't your favorite season, YOUR SEASON IS COMING! Start planning for that! Make room! Sow seeds! Be kind! I'm excited for this season, and every one thereafter!
